We are excited to announce an exciting new chapter for our club. Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks will be partnering with Legends FC, one of the most respected and successful youth soccer organizations in the country.

This partnership is built on a foundation of mutual respect and trust between our leadership teams. We are thrilled to join forces with Legends FC, known for their exceptional track record of success at all levels of youth soccer. Their history of placing players in college, professional, and national teams is a testament to their expertise and commitment to player development.

Shared Resources 

This rebranding brings together the best of both worlds. Legends FC and Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks each boast experienced staff with a deep passion for soccer. By uniting, we will share coaching resources, player pool resources, community relations resources, and marketing resources, ensuring that our players receive top-notch training and support.

Legends FC already has a strong presence in San Diego with Legends FC San Diego. This partnership will further strengthen our player pools and resources, enhancing opportunities for all our athletes to develop and succeed.

Leadership and Expertise

Our combined leadership team is second to none, featuring experts in both youth and professional soccer. From Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks, we have the esteemed Shannon Mac Millan, Warren Barton, and Mike Whittaker, whose contributions to the sport are well-known and respected. Joining them from Legends FC are Josh Hodges, Billy Bizzaro, Drew Rhea, and Taylar Sklar, all of whom bring a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Please rest assured that the leadership of Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks will remain unchanged. We will continue to uphold the values and standards that our members have come to expect. Recreational Program

Our Recreational Program will continue to serve our community under the leadership of our Director, Davor Gazivoda, and will continue to strive for excellence. Our Fall season will continue as planned with no changes or interruptions in the schedule.

We believe this synergy between Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks and Legends FC will create a stronger, more dynamic environment for our athletes to thrive. Together, we will strive to achieve new heights and set the standard for excellence in youth soccer.
