Legends FC SD hosts a Fall Rec League which will consist of a Legends Rec Draft to form teams, 8 League Games and a Legends Rec Tournament, followed by Legends All-Stars:
This program was created for boys and girls ages 4-18 looking to have a fun and enjoyable experience playing soccer, with a goal of creating a lifelong passion for the game.

The Legends FC SD Spring Rec League, also known as “Minor League Soccer”, was established in 2004 and is an award-winning recreational program. This season we will have 6 Sessions on Sundays in March and April. This program was created for Boys & Girls Ages 4-13 looking to have a fun and enjoyable experience playing soccer.
“Minor League Soccer” focuses on young players seeking to enhance their ball skills and soccer knowledge with guidance from professional Legends FC SD coaches. Its goal is to foster a positive learning environment and inspire players to envision playing for international teams like LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, New York Red Bulls, San Jose Earthquakes, Portland Timbers, Sporting Kansas City, etc.

TIMES:
Each one hour session is divided into 30 minutes of technical training followed by 30 minutes of small-sided games to maximize touches on the ball for each player. Every week there are four age appropriate time slots. Please register for the correct group.

FALL REC LEAGUE
Legends FC SD hosts our Fall Rec League during the August-October. Register today for our award-winning recreational soccer program.
LEGENDS FALL REC SOCCER LEAGUE
Legends FC SD hosts a Fall Rec League which will consist of a Legends Rec Draft to form teams, 8 League Games as well as a Legends Rec Tournament, followed by Legends All-Stars.
This recreational league was created for Boys & Girls Ages 4-18 looking to have an enjoyable experience playing soccer with friends, both new and old.
Teams are formed through a fun and exciting “Draft” process chosen by volunteer coaches. In order to keep the balance between the teams, we will try to have equal number of both age groups, limited number of all star players per teams, diversity of schools.

Players have the option of submitting “Friend Requests” to be on the same team together. Please note that there will only be one friend request granted per team. Friend requests must be submitted by May 25th, 2025.

TIMES:
Training and game times are to be determined based on the coaches schedule and game schedule.
Trainings - (1) one hour training is scheduled between 4-6pm on Monday-Friday, based on volunteer coaches schedules.
Games - (1) one hour game is scheduled between 9am-2pm on Saturdays.

Cancellation requests must be emailed to our Registrar and Rec Director:

Cancellation requests submitted by the following dates will receive the corresponding refund:
By June 1st – 50% of the league registration fee
After July 1st – subject to the exception noted below, we are unable to offer any refund due to our existing refund policy and the need to cover incurred fixed costs.
Exceptions to the above rules:
If a player suffers a properly documented season-ending injury and would like to request a refund, written proof of injury must be submitted within 15 days of the injury. A pro-rated refund will be calculated based upon the date of the injury and the REC SEASON (defined below).
If the league removes a player from the program, no refund will be issued.
If, due to COVID-19 restrictions, teams are not able to practice or game at the specified time, the league will adjust the season’s timeframe to ensure the health and safety of all involved. If the season is cancelled due to COVID-19, a prorated amount (based on time of cancellation) will be applied to a future Sharks’ program for each participant, based on each participant’s preference. No monies will be refunded for season cancellation due to COVID-19.
DEFINITION: Rec Season begins on the date of the team’s first league scheduled practice and ends on the date of the team’s last game.
Players may not register to play with more than one team or Club.
Additional notes: If a player receives a scholarship, the amount of the scholarship will be deducted from the refund owed.
