Join us in beautiful San Diego for the Copa Del Mar 2026, the premier end-of-season youth soccer tournament hosted by Legends FC SD Del Mar. 

This annual event brings together top youth teams from across the region for a weekend of competitive play, great sportsmanship, and fun under the Southern California sun. Played on quality fields, Copa Del Mar is the perfect way to close out your season with your team, your families, and the game you love.

 Dates: June 27th - 29th, 2026 *Three day tournament (Sat, Sun, Mon)

 Registration Deadline: May 27th, 2026

Age Groups & Fees:

  • U6-U11 (7v7) – $1,195

  • U12-U13 (9v9) – $1,295

  • U14-U19 (11v11) – $1,395

 Competition Format:

  • All games played on top-tier fields at SOCAL Sports Complex

  • 3-game guarantee

  • Divisions for all levels of play

2026/27 Age Group & Registration Requirements

Important: When registering in Athlete One, your team name must reflect the new U.S. Soccer age group format (U6–U14). Registrations using outdated age designations may be returned for correction.

Tournament Age Structure

  • This event will use the new U.S. Soccer youth age group system

  • Age groups may be combined under the updated structure

  • Example: U13 divisions will include August 1st, 2013 - July 31st, 2014 Birth Years

Rules & Eligibility

We will follow all updated U.S. Soccer requirements, including:

  • Updated player cards

  • New age-group eligibility standards

  • All registrations must align with the August 1 – July 31 age matrix

Copa De Cinco Tournament Description:

Copa De Cinco is an exciting 5v5 soccer tournament open to both boys and girls, 2017’s- 2009’s, (U9-U17) featuring teams of all skill levels. Whether you're part of a competitive squad (ECNL, ECNL-RL, Flight 1, Flight 2, Flight 3) or a recreational team (Beginner, Intermediate, All-Star), this event offers a chance to compete in a fun and supportive environment.  Teams coached by parents or competitive coaches. Create your own team of friends, choose your team name and desired uniform. 

With a smaller field size and just 5 players on the field, Copa De Cinco maximizes each player's touches on the ball, promoting skill development and creative play. Designed to minimize pressure, the tournament encourages players to express themselves freely while still enjoying competitive action.

At Copa De Cinco, it’s all about fostering growth, building confidence, and nurturing a love for the game. Join us for a weekend full of soccer, excitement, and of course, tacos!
